CLASSIC CAR TREASURE HUNT
Superb fun, and a most stylish event, with the relaxed pace and ambience of an age when cars were characters and had personalities!
Our Classic Car events are an increasingly popular way of creating a memorable experience for either clients or colleagues; which will leave them with a genuine feeling of having experienced something worthwhile.
This is a genuine self-drive, hands-on treasure hunt experience, in which everyone has an opportunity to drive the cars available for your event.
How it Works
Your cars will be collected form the Classic Garage which is located just outside Harrogate, ready for the onward journey to your destination. Your own cars will be left in a secure area at the barrage for collection at the end of the event.
Your party will be given detailed instruction in the operation of the cars … most of which drive pretty much as a modern car would … and, of course, there is back-up available in the event of a (extremely rare!) breakdown. We will have planned a scenic touring route to the venue, where the cars will be parked up overnight ready for the Rally in the morning. Maps and a road cards will be provided.
Your Cars
We will provide 6 immaculate classic cars; 3 four seater and 3 two seater, as imaged below. All cars supplied are roadworthy, checked and prepared for your event, insured and MOT’d.
The Treasure Hunt/Road Rally
The teams are allocated the car they will start the event with and each team is given a cleverly designed and slightly technical Treasure Hunt route which will take the teams through spectacular Yorkshire scenery. Whilst in the cars there are numerous clues to solve and items to collect which are relevant to the area covered by the route, with various beautiful places of interest visited during the day.
Depending on the chosen venue; the outbound route would be through either the scenic Yorkshire Dales or along Yorkshire’s spectacular coastline … or, a combination of both. Homebound; the route would take you via an agreed luncheon venue, then on to a final venue for afternoon tea, where the results of the Rally would be calculated and announced. The teams would then return to the Classic Car garage, touring through beautiful countryside, and on to collect your own cars.
